Re: Thanksgiving day hunting
I'm thinking about it...... Don't feel the best right now, guess I'll see what I feel like in the AM... Couple of my buddies shot 12 today, thinking about getting back out with them....

Re: Thanksgiving day hunting
With this wind, i would love to get out, just trying to decide where.
Once I figure out the where, I'll ask permission.

Re: Thanksgiving day hunting
I've got the green light for a morning archery deer hunt. Dinner is not until 4 PM. I'd better be home by noon or..... Good luck to all that are venturing out!

I got my first bull elk on Thanksgiving Day many years ago. Packed it out all by myself and made it to dinner by 2:00.
No day to stay home......

Yep, Thanksgiving is a good day to hunt, lot less people. I got a bull a couple of years ago on Thanksgiving. I will be eating turkey tomorrow though!

Didn't get out of bed till 7:00 and went out to check on my son. He was just coming out of the field with his four honkers. Wish I had gotten up an hour earlier.

Left the house at 4:45 to go swat some ducks and returned at 11:30 with 4 in the bag. Not alot of action but still fun anyways.
