He thinks he is. He is still wet behind the ears when comes to duck hunting
Its easy when he has everyone else do the calling and bring their decoys

wel it still give me an idea of where to go and where there used to be a clearcut. Maybe now it is only a couple of years old and the elk are running all over it just waiting for me to spill some blood.

it's a great reference for sure. The downfall is not knowing if roads are still open or washed out.

Hey, us rifle hunters got them good and spooked for you, should be a good hunt! Just had to get even for the earlier comment about bow hunters shooting their guns on opening day of rifle elk seasons!!!

How can you see the side of your house from an arial photo?
Or did you paint the roof?

I would be out elk hunting but I didn't put in the time to scout this year and don't know of a place. So it looks like I won't be able to go out.

Good one. IF it weren't for everyone with rifle tag sighting in during archery season, there'd be no reason for vindication.

Well if they moved the archery season that wouldn't be an issue!

True. But some guys would find something to whine about no matter when the season came. Not me, just happy to be able to be out there.

That is the real truth, however I don't think it has much to do with sighting in any guns. This is in the East part of the state I hunt, I think it is wood cutters that bring their gun to shoot. I don't under stand why they have to do it the first week of archery season every year.

I've heard it all up here. Sounds like a cross between the tough truck challenge and WW III. But the animals hear it all the time as well, so don't let it get under your skin too much.

I personally think that they should just space out the late archery elk at least 1 week from the last rifle hunt. Give the poor critters time to calm back down.
