I'm going to be staying in Waldport for Thanksgiving weekend, and I was considering duck hunting the Alsea Bay area. I am familiar with hunting tide water, and know all about the mud factor, but I still enjoy that style of hunting, and it will be nice to get out of the house for a bit . This goes without saying but of course I'm not looking for any secret spots, but just thought maybe somebody could point me in the right direction as to at least how to get down to the public land to avoid any chance of trespassing, etc. I have looked at the area thoroughly on google earth, and plan to scout the area during the day prior to hunting, but was just hoping for a few pointers. Feel free to PM me if you don't want to tell the world.
Also if you are going to be in the area and would like to go together let me know. I will likely hunt Friday or Saturday.
