Default Sat 8/16 Blitz Tuna Trip

Just a quick note before I collapse....Blitz had over 60 tuna today, 39 miles NW of Newport. 65-66 deg water, got up to 72 with the sunshine (yes, 72). Greasy slick flat calm, jumpers & boiling on bait, sharks, whales, porpoise, and a really good bunch of people. The perfect day.

p.s. it was a slow pick until about 12:30, then they went on the chew.

Mark, it's probably to late for a report, but any numbers where the Blitz was fishing? I am going to try and go tomorrow. My boat is at Depoe Bay, but could switch to Newport. Saw Ken come in as I was leaving Newport tonight but don't know what he had.
I will check the computer before I leave just incase you were able to post some numbers.

Thanks for the report,
Jerry
