Took my wife out into the ocean for her first trip. She has never been and wanted to see what all the hub-bub was about. We left the house at 5:30am and hit the ramp at 7:00. Due to some trailer bearing difficulties we didn't get out until 8:30am or so.
Here is what we found:
We ended up boating 12 fish and only bringing home one keeper.

Lots of natives. Had lots of strikes too but had a hard time keeping them on. The good thing was my wife got her first ever ocean coho. She actually caught most of the fish.
Did I mention the ocean was like a lake?
The day could have been a perfect 10 but you that little thingy that has the grease zerk on it? It's on the hub of the wheel on your trailer? It is very bad when it comes off and the grease goes bye bye.

A big thanks to Newport Les Schawb for allowing my wife and I to fish and getting me back home.
Now to order a new axle and then dump this trailer for a better and bigger one. :depressed:
Edit: Roy, I take back all the bad stuff I said about you boat top.
