Default St. Helens Sturgeon/Salmon 2-20

Fished with XTC today for some sturg/salmon. Started out in the MC for some sturgeon. 3 out of 4 of our first sturgeon were smallish keepers in the 42"-44" range!

When we tried to take a picture of the first one my camera batteries died so I threw them in the charger and plugged it in thinking it was going to be one of those banner days and we did not touch a keeper the rest of the morning

At about 11 AM or so we ran down to the big river around 72 and tried our luck at drowning some herring... trolled all the way back up to Warrior Rock without a touch. We did not see one seal either

Soon it will be time, the anticipation is killing me

Good luck if you go for sturg... my regular spots were marking only small fish on the finder... we moved to the flats around the holes and bingo, we marked big fish. Move around till you find them. 44' and smelt were the ticket. Beautiful day to be out, it was nice to be fishing in the sun again.
