Default Full Moon Tuna Cruise

Couldn't take the good weather any more and I drug my mother and wife out to the CR tuna grounds. We are staying in Ilwaco for two weeks. Left last Tuesday morning at 2:45 am. The bar was lit up by the moon and it guided us out to the tuna. Plenty of great fun was had. The look on their faces as they tied into their first bullets was priceless. They had no idea what they were in for and at the end of the day they were exhausted, but proud. We came home with 9, which is plenty for us! Great weather and priceless memories.

Way to go!!

That sounds like fun, driving by moonlight, especially as bright as that moon has been lately.

It's called the Sturgeon Moon this month. That must be why it is so close and bright for us fisherman. Sounds like a fun time to fish!!

8knots, you paint a very pretty picture. Somehow I think your mom and your wife are very lucky ladies. Isn't it great to share a trip like that with those you love. Congratulations.

Sounds like a trip to remember.
