Another friend gone
Boy this has been a year where friends are passing on. Just found out yesterday that a longtime friend passed away Monday while out hunting. Dan Kahn was hunting and suffered a major heart attack. I guess I should not be shocked any more about these kind of things with all I have gone through with my folks but this one really shocked me. Dan was 57 years old and in good shape. Hard worker all his life.
Dan use to work at Foster Auto Parts and I have known him for 25 years. some of you may have even purchased parts from him in the past. He left That job 2 years ago and decided to be self employed.
Folks, you never know when your friends may pass. enjoy the time you have with them or when you see them. Life is so short and that is becoming very evident to me the older I get.
Pray for Dan's Wife and his son that they may be comforted in this time of loss.

Re: Another friend gone
'Very sorry to hear about your friend's passing, Bernie. for his family and friends. I'm all too painfully aware of what you mean re friends and family passing as we age. You know about my little brother and my Dad; well, this year I've been to seven funeral/memorial services for family and friends. Best wishes. Don

Re: Another friend gone
Thanks for praying for his family. The committed him today up in Raineer. Now the family has a lot to do with his estate and trying to sell his property. Dan had a lot of hobbies so I'm sure there will be huge tasks ahead. Pray for the family as they go through his personal items and give them strength and good memories.
