Wow! I have an almost identical pic of a 90lb.fish we took the week before on the north east side of the pile. Same background and scale  I just have one question. How did you get it in the boat without any visiable holes in it's head or anywhere else?

We used a gaff to get it in, you just can't see the hole from that angle.

Ray, if I remember right yours was just about the same that day wasn't it.

Ken, the length was the same but I think we did a better job of bleeding it out...

Here it is all cleaned up...

This one weighed in at 86# and was 58 inches.

Read the story about how a 1st timer caught this monster on my boat with a Salmon rod HERE!

Congrats again Ken, nice fish...

Nice Job Ken
Were you with Kenny??
Saw Kenny running in from "outside" on Friday afternoon, do any good??
Looks like we shoulda stayed and fished Saturday
You guys gonna fish the 22 and 23??

Ray,

Fished by you Friday morning at the Pile sounds like you had the similar results we did, salvaging the day with salmon.
Might see ya the 23rd.

Kurt

Popye,

Yes the acuall weight at the store was only 87lbs but I figured that after using it as a sea anchor for the rest of the day while trolling for salmon that at least 3 pounds of blood was lost, so I called it @ 90lbs.

Kurt,

I was with Kenny on Saturday, he also picked up a 53" er. Kenny went out Friday with the wife and came back empty.

edsr
Don't hire a midget, just catch bigger fish.
