Goose hunter needed!
Looking for a goose hunter from Corvallis/Albany to split gas money tomorrow to Salem. Hunting a cut corn field that is a deadly goose hunting spot. PM me for more information about hunting outside the permit zone.

Jeff I think alot of guys get leary when they hear that the decoys have been put out ahead of time. Usually that's not a good sign at all. Great of you to invite, though- hope you did great.

Re: Goose hunter needed!
Dave- The decoys stayed in the field because I hunted last night and why bring them in to put them right back out? Seems smart to me...
Ommedia- Meeting in the middle (Salem) was possible.
I found someone and we are going for an afternoon hunt...

Haha....way to point out the obvious. You know he didnt mean at night.....Im sure he was in the general zone. Believe it or not there are geese over there. I know it sounds crazzy..
Unless he is a few bottles short of a six pack i dont think he would post up if he was hunting the permit zone. But i don't think that is the case.
Good on ya Jeff for allowing someone the opportunity.

Re: Goose hunter needed!
I am sure he meant evening/late afternoon hunt. I know we all know what he was saying. I am the lat person to pointing a fingers at a statement that is not considered perfect .
It was nice of you to post a invite junkyardjeff.

Re: Goose hunter needed!
And when it comes to 'permit zone' remember, that can have a road as the boundry. How often do you see a road (hwy) that splits a couple large fields with geese beating them to a muddy pulp... Outside the permit zone doesn't mean he's in eastern Oregon, he's working groups over from the permit area...
Limits are the norm, its private land, and he was trying to do someone a favor. Just because he doesn't design his own decoys doesn't mean he doesn't know how to use them... If you had a safe private land honey hole with storage for your dekes, would you pack them home everynight?

Re: Goose hunter needed!
Good for you...DSD are great...if you don't have them....you will still kill them. I will be buying some soon. If I go there and see that they are only for the special guys I will let every one know. They really look awesome to me.

Re: Goose hunter needed!
After seeing all the ridiculous posts on here, minus a few, I realize now that offering random seats to people here just doesn't work! People just don't get that I was offering to take them to a banner spot, but made fun of the idea instead and criticized me for doing so. Why take rude people out? Time to go clean birds...
JYJ
By the way, this is a spot people pay to hunt...too bad i'm in the family!
