Default Where to find a part..Rem. 700 ADL 30-06

Hunting guys, and gals. I think this is the first time I have posted on this side...

Anyway, I didn't hunt this year. I went into the bowels of my gunsafe and found the the bolt is missing from my rifle. I remember removing it, the reason I did so is where I used to live, I didn't have a safe. I always removed the bolt from my gun, seperated it from the gun, so the gun could not be fired. And now I can't find it

I searched EVERYWHERE.

The gun is a Remington Modle 700 ADL 30-06.

Will I have to pick this up from Remington? About how much am I looking at?

Thanks!

That might be a costly mistake. I would start direct with Remington. You also might check Brownell's on the web.

it will be a problem. look for it more. then if you can not find it, take it to gunsmith for replacement or ship it to remington for replacement. the bolt is a fitted part.

PTG makes replacement Remington bolts. They're not crazy expensive, but you'll need to get the handle attached, and you'll want a gunsmith to make sure your headspace is ok anyway.

Best thing would be to find the old one though. Where was the last place that you saw it?
