Daughters first Buck
Day 1.When a guy has kids all he wants is to raise them the best he can and be there to to enjoy and share everything. This last weekend I did, My daughter13yrs old drew a youth controlled hunt for deer, we hunted hard from AM dark to PM dark the first day and it was HOT AS HELL but we pressed on still nothing, we pressed on still nothing (Tiffanys gettin burned out by this time)no deer the first day.
Day 2. Set out like the morning before got to Elevation of 4500 ft at day break with a temp. of 59 degrees This is to hot to hunt so we stoped and had breakfast on the mountian and we pressed on still nothing AGAIN she said"I am gettin tired of this not seeing anything Dad" by 12:30 we were heading down to go look in a different place, so when we got there we got out and walked to the top and looked around for awhile and headed back, we had got within a 100ft from the Blazer and Paul said look its a buck, we walk over and look and sure enough it was a buck. I got Tiffany over by me and I Knelt down and had her Tiffany rest over my left shoulder and she shot this deer, not bad for her first one. I am so proud of my kids.

Re: Daughters first Buck
That is great and she had to work for it which makes it better.

Re: Daughters first Buck
Awesome! Maybe all the city boys will feel threatened (in a way) by all of our "hunting" daughters...might be our best defense!
Congrats to Tiffany!

Re: Daughters first Buck
That was sure fun to see her get her first deer. Too bad she had to shoot one in the steepest unit we could find!
