New Addition To The Family.......GSP Style

After a 12 year hiatus from dog ownership and bird hunting we decided to add a dog to our family. I decided on a GSP because the are just good all around bird dogs and my last old girl was a great hunter and a pleasure to hunt behind. Fellow Ifisher Half Fast Toyn had a nice litter out of good looking, birdy stock, so I was happy to take this guy off his hands. Mike did a really good job of socializing them. They are outgoing and very people friendly. We have had him home all of about 3 hours and he retrieved his toy to hand a few times and now he's sacked out on his dog bed. Of course the kids love him and he is good with them and doesnt bite, or nip at all.
Tomorrow we are going to fool around with the wing on a string and maybe get a couple pics of him on point.
I am really excited to have a dog and pick up bird hunting again.
