Hopefully they don't, it seems to me that they are their own worst enemy.

Re: Where will they stop?
All the reasons they cite are the same reasons why I hunt WILD meat.
No e-coli concerns, no hormones, no red #4 dye, super lean & healthy. Right from the animal to my freezer.
PETA is just re-enforcing why we SHOULD hunt.
We had sauteed Blacktail tenderloin chunks for appetizers out ducking last weekend. Yum Yum.
Mallard fajitas for dinner last night. Some Spaghetti w/ Blacktail burger Tuesday and BT Stirfry Wed.

Oh brother but, do you see how these guys work, they never stop chipping away and we need to constantly point out the error of their ways to the public.
I am with you Huntnfish I like organic meat....

Re: Where will they stop?
I don't have anything against vegetarians, but it should be a person choice right?
I'm sure that doctors would find just as many diseases, cancers, and viral infections in vegetarians as they would in people consuming meat products. In fact there was a case study linked to post-menopausal women increasing their risk of breast cancer with soy product consumption.
I think just about everything will kill us eventually.

They continue to isolate themselves with the regular person, I say keep it coming. The more random nonsense that they spout from their mouths -- this, and the breast milk thing a while back, they just further isolate their moderate supporters who will begin to realize that they're just flateout nuts.
Carry on. Keep the proposals coming, they're great ideas!

PETA doesn't know what they're missing.
That sounds SOOO Good! There's one problem, you actually have to be successful in order to have meat on the table. Nobody needs a "cursed" hunting and fishing buddy do they? I'm available. LOL Guaranteed to drop your success rates!

Re: Where will they stop?
Interesting that they want us all to be vegetarians. Wan't that last E-Coli thing about tomatoes or was it peppers?

Re: Where will they stop?
Boy... I wish they could show me the real cold hard proof... DATA that is, which links vegetarianism to lower incidence of Heart disease or other chronic conditions! While I will say that vegetarianism has its merits I always retort with the fact that if we can chew it, digest it, gain nutrition from it... then we are SUPPOSED TO FREAKIN' EAT IT!!! I am all for eating "organic" but the animals we harvest as hunters are as ORGANIC as it comes and as healthy, if not WAY better, for us than even the grass fed organic ground beef I have thawing out right now.
I say this to all veggies (respectfully I will call you/them that ) go to Alaska and live "on the land" for 3 months (yes, much like the much maligned Discovery channel's Alaska Experiment) and lets see just how long it is before you decide that that moose looks rather tasty!
Another thing that chaps my ass about anti-hunters (off topic I know) is that most of them do in fact eat meat. I always like to ask them what they eat, how that animal grew up (in a cage, in captivity and being poked, prodded and told what to do their entire lives). Then, I say how "free" is that animal and how humane is it to raise that animal that way essentially suffering? Then, now think about how free an Elk, deer, duck, moose etc etc is... all of their lives free as a bird until one day their life comes to an end in a matter of seconds/moments. Not too much suffering there!
Just sayin'.

Re: Where will they stop?
I wonder if we can get them to hook up w/ the PEW donuts and really get a bass-ackward thing going. What about the salmonella in their little veggies from uninformed or disgruntled foreign workers? Does that count for increasing insurance rates?
