Crabbait and Skein target Newport
Rumor has it that the new Edwings will make their first Salty appearance at Newport Friday evening! Length and duration of the adventure will be dictated, as always, by the ocean.
Here's a couple of pics of Skein and DipSeaDiver's
on its maiden cruise.
We're trying to get a slip for Friday night, but don't know the number yet. Look for us and come by and have a brew.
Skein (and DipSeaDiver)

Skein,
Congratulations on one fine, seaworthy craft. Did you break a bottle on her bow before the maiden voyage? Good luck, have gr8 fun and always, "BE CAREFUL OUT THERE."

Re: Crabbait and Skein target Newport
Now you guy have gotten me in trouble. I told my wife the last boat I bought would be the last one. After seeing your finished boats I'm dreaming of the day I can order one.
Your new boats are a couple of the finest water craft I have seen.
(jlb/^54yblk) Sorry I drooled on the key board.
Have a safe voyage.

Re: Crabbait and Skein target Newport
Man those are nice looking boats. Skein the back deck looks like a good place to practice your calling, inbetween catching fish. I'm not to sure about the cabin though. We could test it by you sitting in the captains chair and I'll blow a highball in through the window. You can be the judge.
Did you read the part in the AUP about taking mods fishing in new boats. (Required by IFISH Law)
It was a good try wasn't it.
You got the easy part. Crabbait has to take all the membership fishing now.
Great Boat!!!!!!!

Re: Crabbait and Skein target Newport
Nice pictures
Great boat sits well in the water and looks real fishy. The fish had better be carful this weekend or they will end up on your boat and not as deck hands.

Greenhorns on the loose at Newport. You must stay at least 200 yards away from these hazzards. Be sure to have your radios on 16 to report any suspecious activities.

Re: Crabbait and Skein target Newport
How well do those boats get out of the hole with just one motor? Seemed like they would be underpowered? I am just curious.
Those boats really do sit nice in the water and look like fishing machines. I'd just have dual 250's on mine for that extra "umph".

Re: Crabbait and Skein target Newport
I wish you guys would stop posting pics of these boats. My boat is only 4 payments old and I am already looking over her shoulder.
You guys really have a couple of great boats.

Re: Crabbait and Skein target Newport
Hey Birdnest,
You have a great boat yourself, and I am NOT prejudiced! Every boat is a compromise...the EdWings are fabulous boats and I would have seriously considered one if I had known about then when I bought my boat but I decided on mine after significant research and thinking about utility and cost and am still pleased with the choice! b-u-t-t-t-t those ARE great looking boats!

Re: Crabbait and Skein target Newport
Hi Skein. I saw you and the new boat out on the ocean this weekend. I was in the 23' blue Northriver with the gold hardtop and 250 Yamaha. I spent so much time on the ocean over the weekend that I can't remember exactly WHERE I saw you, but I think it was off the lighthouse on Saturday. Beautiful boat!
