Default Crew looking for spot for 8-8,8-9 BFB, Salmon

Anyone looking for crew for Friday and/or saturday or both out of Newport or Garibaldi for salmon or halibut or both or anything else that swims? I would have arranged earlier, but I had buddies coming from out of state (with a boat) that just bailed out on me.

I know most of you are probably headed for ifishstock, but the fishing is just too good right now not to be on the water.

Kurt, my crew for Friday is iffy at best.
I won't know for certain until they both get on the boat Friday that the seats are taken.
I would like to give you a for sure but if that seat opens Friday morning you are more than welcome aboard.

I am on Bluebeast Satuday, possibly Sea Lion on Friday. I know the forcast on Friday looks bad, but bay crab and bait fishing aint a bad way to spend a day!

Tom, If I get there in time I plan to.

Rick, I think Dan is going to make his decision based on the forecast. He made it very clear that he might cancell and work on his boat. I would like to get him out if the weather cooperates. We might not get out at all... Or we might have another day of eppic proportions. Time will tell and I will do what I can to insure all seats are full. I really enjoy sharing the good times on my boat. I would be really bummed to have an empty seat on a day like last Friday....

I don't know about you guys but the weather doesn't seem to be cooperating for this weekend. I have a few buddies coming down out of Seattle to fish this weekend...if we can get out. if the weather seems to iffy then they are going to hang around the San Juans. I have a little more leeway for last minute decisions, but I woun't go out without somone else on the boat. I will post last minute (Friday), to see if anyone needs a ride if I have room. Sorry it has to be last minute

rockn'reel- what's the name of your boat, is it the same as your moniker? I fish with a guy whose boat is named "The Rock N' Reel" I even have a hat! Just wondering, TOC.

The south coast forecast looks much better than the north coast. I think I'll head south!
Oh yea then west

I hate to add into this thread, but I am in the same figurative boat as Threemuch. I would love to find an open seat for salmon, halibut, rockfish, u name it, this weekend. OR anyday, for that matter. I have most of my own gear, yet my transportation is gone to Bend.

Any open seats would be greatly appreciated!

Thank You,

Sublime

TOC, no I have never put the name on the side of the boat. I have been working on it so much this was the last of my worries. I ride a 23'6" Jetcraft all white. Pretty cool on the hat though! I had several thoughts on boat names ex. Spring Fever, Balls Deep (referring to downrigger balls-but no one else understood this), and rock and reel. I have had this one name in mind since I was about 13 yrs old. Never had a VHF or boat worthy to put it on.
I would like to get a hat that says the name of my boat sometime. I always like the witty little saying. The best thing I have is a bumper sticker I bought in Hawaii that reads--The only time in your adult male life when you want your rubber to break and your rod to bend!" Reffering to Marlin fishing (oh well, makes me laugh every time!) See ya on the water!
