Going to take pictures again at around 11am to see how high the tide actually gets. This is how it looked at 8:30 this morning.

Blowin pretty good up here in Long Beach. Good thing the high tide isn't much of one.

I've seen it much higher than that during a 12 foot exchange in December and the columbia on the rise. From the harbor lights resturant we were clearly able to read all the boat names in the first row and see their swim platforms. Much higher and people would have had to scramble to sandbags.
