Default Depoe salmon

I know its last minute but I was just thinking, How far out do you have to go to get into fish right now? We are taking our first trip out of there tomorrow in our own boat and was just curious on how far we should go before we drop in the lines?

You're right. Last minute. Couple days ago best bite was in 45 fathoms although the Tacklebuster found both coho and chinook in 30-35 fathoms in the afternoon. Prior to that it seemed like 200-25' was the magic number.

Listen to 80 on the V and 21 on the CB and watch for boats. Dockside is on CB 35.

Probably too late but...

Got ours in 270 ft. of water southwest of Depoe.

Good luck.

Came in today with limits. Most days have been finding the best bite out around 50 fathoms. That's where they were today as well.
