Wanted to hit the Fishery yesterday, but on advice from ifishers stayed down below. Good choice methinks. Caught approximately 40 shakers, and one 43" keeper (released).
Fishing was best in the morning, but pretty good all day. We fished the lower Willy, but tried a couple of other places as well. Smelt was the bait of choice all day. It was a fantastic day of fishing. Depth did not seem to matter as we found fish in 75 feet all the way up to 30 feet. Thanks to everybody who talked us into fishing downriver!
