Default Tillamook Bay Jetty Action

Just for the heck of it, my nephew and friend hit the jetty Sunday evening and witnessed some awsome bait and bass action. Huge bait balls were passing and you could hear the muhrs call ing clear out in the middle of the bay (lots of diving birds) We also witnessed some incredible surface takes right in front of us with one bass 18" or so carwheeling out of the water in an effort to get a mouth full of anchovies! Unbelievable!

Sounds nice. Will be camping at barview this weekend so we'll have to hit that. Did you see anyone fishing it?

Call me crazy, but I think all the action was in front of us or to the right (lst parking area)
We saw this guy to our left notice the bait swarm and saw him casting, but the bass, etc seemed riveted on the anchovies. We had one take on the jigs, which was pretty unusual.
