Default Coos Bay, Gold Beach, Port Orford tuna?

I just looked at the Terrafin shot from yesterday and these areas are looking very good. Any of you south coast guys got any intel on potential tuna action? Thinking of going Tuesday, Wednesday somewhere. Bob

My dad saw the same thing this weekend and headed out to 14 miles and got 15 tuna in a short run. I was out of town but definitely plan on hitting them on friday as well as halibut in the same trip. Man I can't wait!!

I didn't have any numbers, but he was a touch southwest, and out. They hit 62 degree water and dropped in. Not a bad day, but not real wild one either. Anyhow, good luck and post how you did.

TC,
Thanks again for the info. I am going to assume that he headed for the plume of water from the July 31 shot which was SW (about 43.16/124.47)but further out than apparently where the warm water is sitting now. I'll post a thorough update Wednesday night. Bob

I just talked to him more in depth and they got into the most of the fish around 22-26 miles with the closest around 14. There were a lot of fish jumping and all around them most of the day. They were straight out from the jetties also. Anyhow, good luck. Most of the boats out there averaged 20 fish.
