Default Christmas Lights

Has anyone had any expierence with the new LED outside house lights.
Thinking of switching from the old c-9, new house time for a change.
Just wondering if it's worth the $$ and if you get a nice look.

Thanks for any input.

Two years ago I went to BiMart after Christmas and bought enough to do the house. [12 boxes] We love them. Got them on sale, have never had a problem and because they use so much less energy, you can put many strings together and not overload the wires. I am switching to them with everything as money permits.

They don't get hot, either. But that could be a disadvantage if things really ice up this year.

I want to get some. Every time I've looked they've been sold out. I need to get them early this year.

Think I might put them up this weekend with the good weather.

Prestrung ones are still not very bright. Retrofits are much better but still over a dollar each for c7/c9. I have aprox 1200 lights

At current prices I'm lookin at about 12 years before they would pay for themselves.
