New GPS aka I want to play too

Well I knew that if I wanted to play with you guy on the big pond, I would have to get one. So today will be install day on my new Eagle IntelliMap 320.
Any pointers I should know about? I have read the install section. Wire to the Batterie, puck mounting needs to have a clear 360 view, screen will be mounted up on the skippers side next to the sounder. Any thing else you can think of?
