I'm already down here in Arizona. It was in the mid to upper 80's today. Roasting hot. Went to the Nationwide race today. Oh my gosh, what an event to see and hear in person!!!!
Can't wait for tommorrows race...

43 cars, each one at almost 800 hp, with no mufflers. The roar is deafening!
We have awesome seats near the start/finish line.

We rented the headsets for the weekend that monitor the race teams communications, as well as the race broadcasters that call the race lap by lap. It's pretty cool to hear the behind the scene's stuff in addition to the regular play by play.
Being here in person is truly a NASCAR fan's dream. Television just doesn't do this sport justice.

You would not believe the atmosphere. BBQ's smoking everywhere, cold beer, food vendors, event merchandisers, displays, interactive activities, television broadcasts, live music, race cars, and the plethora of tens of thousands of people of all wallks of life, and dressed in every conceivable manner.
No autographs or used lugnuts yet, but a lot of new clothes, digital pictures, and movie clips are coming home with me.
My wife had one of her NASCAR dreams fulfilled today
