Default The Message has been delivered LOUD AND CLEAR

If Phil Fullmer can be fired with a 151-50 record and a National Championship, it's time for Mike Bellotti to step up. If I'm Kilkenny or Knight, I deliver the message that this is the last year to feel good about losing or to say that the better team lost.

It's time to pull the Play Stations from the Locker Room, and scrap the fashion show.
The type of athletes it's bringing in during recruiting just don't want to play hard enough to win.

I've defended Bellotti for a long time, but this is a new era.
Talk no longer will get it done, we want to see walk.

It's Phil Knights team. They are sowing the seeds sown.

I was wondering if Tedford might like to come home.

I would be very concerned if the door to my office said "allioti" on it. Time to can that guy. I like Belotti as a person but I don't think he's the best college coach in the state. Look at Riley- love him or hate him- he does more with less. I think the best move would be to let Bellotti take the AD position and then open up the coaching position. The Ducks are bringing in quality talent and the coaches are NOT getting the most out of their players and unlitmately thats there job!

I agree, Bellotti seems to be stuck in a rut, his play calling/stratedy is too predictable, if he can't/won't evolve with the sport, he needs to be replaced.

Personally I hope the Ducks keep him. I know alot of big time Duck fans and most of them want Belloti gone. With the talent they have they should be alot better.

Move Bellotti up to AD he looks bored on the sidelines. To much talent to be average in a mediocre pac-10 this year. Last weeks game is one of the few times Allowalotti could not be blamed for the loss. The d played well enough to win.

careful what u ask for......it might not be the right thing.....

many teams get into downward affects by playing the coaching change game......recruiting suffers.......philosphies changes.....players dont fit....

next thing u know good teams are not good at all.....

look at

wsu, UW, OK in the 90's my huskers since 2003

bama, ucla, usc before carrol, aTm this year, KSU

teams stay good by being steady.....

I have been less than thrilled with some of the play calling, but I remember a #2 national ranking at the end of the year a few years ago. If Oregon would have had any respect prior to that season, they would have played in the NC game that year and probably would have won. Belotti turned down some job offers after that season to stay with Oregon! I can think of 2 Beaver coaches who took their offersand left OS.

I also remember a#2 ranking last year! Does anyone think that they wouldn't have won the National Championship last year if Dixon wouldn't have got hurt?

3 losses this year, 2 of them to top 10 teams, and all to ranked teams, not a reason to fire the coach imo.

I would like to see the freshman QB get more playing time though especialy when we get behind

Rich Brooks might be looking for a new job after this year... he was the coach for 17 years and still couldn't muster a winning record....

Some of you guys are nuts! The ducks ARE winning, have won, and will continue to win under Bellotti.

Memories are too short.
