Where is the best buy on Cigars
I used to use Lil Browns Smoke Shack for all my internet cigar purchases. Now they no longer sell to Oregon residents. I've found that buying on line will save me 30% to 50% every time.
Does anyone have a contact for the authentic Cuban Cohiba's. These are the ones with the black and yellow band with the black squares turned on edge to look like diamonds.
Thank you,
Jack

Re: Where is the best buy on Cigars
Keep in mind that it is illegal to buy tobacco produts online in Oregon. The laws changed a few years ago and most internet based sales have dried up...
I suspect what you are asking technically violates the AUP as it constitutes illegal activity....

Someone at Rich's might be able to point you in the right direction. Great place with knowledgable staff. NW Portland.

Re: Where is the best buy on Cigars
We do ok at Timber Valley though there are several of our favorites they don't carry ...
We just got back from Virginia where they seem to smoke everywhere.
We purchased a new one - EO 601 Reserva Limitada - very good smoke but not available here so will have to order from VA direct.

Ahhh. Not exactly true
Oregon.gov states:
Is buying on the internet or mail-order merchant illegal?
Buying cigarettes over the internet or by mail order is not illegal. However, it is illegal to be in possession of untaxed cigarettes in Oregon. All cigarettes, regardless of how or where they are purchased, must have the tax paid. The consumer is ultimately responsible for the tax. Look on the bottom of each pack. If there is a small stamp, Oregon tax has been paid. If there is no stamp, then the cigarettes are "illegal" because they have not been taxed. If the stamp on the bottom of the pack does not have "Oregon" on it, then the tax has been paid to another state and is considered unstamped for purposes of taxation in Oregon.
There is a form to fill out and pay the Oregon Tax (if they are not taxed) when you get your stuff, it is available at the Oregon.gov site in the FAQ's along with this above article. Or click on the "consumer is ultimately......" ad it will take you to the link.

Re: Where is the best buy on Cigars
You are perfectly legal buying Cigars online you are responsible to report the sale and pay the tax on it. I buy cigars online all the time upwards of $100 at a time. cigars international is a great site so is JR cigars. My last few online purchases have been through JR cigars quick delivery and great prices.
As for the cigars made on an island south of Miami they are illegal and can not be purchase with American money or buy any American citizen in the United States. PM Sent rp

Google Tower Cigars. Mark, the owner is a great guy. I think if you buy over $100 of product, shipping is free. If you talk to him, tell him hi for me.

Re: Where is the best buy on Cigars
Cubans are not all they are cracked up to be. I hear they are no better than any other quality cigar.
