Default 8/1 & 8/2 Trifecta on the BLACK ROCKET

That's right we're going out to try to slay all 3 Halibut, Tuna and Salmon. Both day's have fulls seats. All Ifisher. NWBILL will be going out on the 1st for our first ever Halbicore/Salmon trip.

We're launching from Depoe BAy 5AM friday morning. If out late enough and far enough north we will be returning to the mouth of the Little Nestucca in the afternoon.

If any other Ifishers will be chasing TUNA after the halibut kill, we should hook up. I will be on the 78 VHF and 5 or 24 CB. If you see me at the Pile or the Ranch, give me a ring and we can chat about which way to go for TUNA.

Hope to see you all out there. Weather look excellent for us.

Sounds great! I'm just wondering though, was it difficult for you to get insurance, or do you just pay through the nose for it?

Sometimes I feel like I missed part of the conversation? Kujo...We will be trying the same thing, though with a little less speed. I will talk at you as the day progresses. Good luck and tight lines!

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helv">I purchased my Charter Boat Insurance from Charter Lakes Ins, in Mich. They have EXCELLENT rates. For full coverage including a 16 ft Zodiac F470 w/40hp,30ft SAV with twin 225s, all electronics and trailer, not to mention certificate of insurance with State of Oregon and Calf is a little over $2000.00 a year.

I guess you could call this "through the nose", but to be "legal" you must have it.

That doesn't sound bad at all, KJ for the adventures you enjoy. Be safe out there this weekend.
