Yet another blacktail down...
This weather is awesome! I'm not much of a story teller. He was rutting hard and chasing a doe accross a unit I was watching. Two shots on the move at about 160 yards.
He's not the biggest by any means, but definately my best Blacktail to date. 
Is a 3x4 with a decent brow tine and a ton of little trash all around his bases. I should have passed and let him go another year to be a big boy, but am very happy to have a deer hanging for some more meat in the freezer.

Uhm, would you be sad if I told you I drug it a total of 10 feet? The unit that I hiked into was all private, and I had the ability to drive in to recover the animal.
