I'm so pumped that it's snowing outside.. i'm heading over to the western side of the Cascades tomorrow for my blacktail hunt. I love hunting them in the snow. Let it snow.. let it snow... let it snow..

Don't get too excited. Snow levels go up to around 9000' sometime tomorrow.

just checked the NWS for the area i'm going snow level 3500 ft tell around 10 am tomorrow then snow level raising to above 7000ft. i'll get to hunt in the snow for a little while and hopefully that's all i'll need

1"+ at 2200' this morning on the south side of the McKenzie on B. Kelley. Guy calling in said it was coming down hard too.

I did alot of hunting with my dad up Booth Kelley back when GP owned it adn it was open 7days a week. I harvest my first buck up there off 700c line.

I will be hunting our ranch in Elkton, my cousin took Nate Costa of the Oregon Ducks football team on the ranch last sunday and he missed a 4x5 that would probably score around 140" BC, so I will be looking out for that guy.

Snowing today on Mt Emily and surrounding hills. Tried to snow in town but it never stuck.
Drove up the hill to Morgan lake out of La Grande and it had 2" of snow on the ground.
Wahooo the snow is here!!!!!

3500 to 4000 had atleast 4" at 10 am and still coming down hard in upper Clackamas area. About 1pm snow down to 2500, coming down hard when I left. Oh yeh, nothing but cat tracks moving around today. Explains a little about a couple areas I frequent.

only saw 2 does and a little dink spike buck. there was a ton of snow up there i was hunting in about 10" but i couldn't go where i wanted to go do to deep snow.

no snow up Shotgun Creek...... highest point is 3500' which is Warner Ridge. But there still wasn't any snow up there as of this afternoon.
