Thursday Depot for TUNA?

We are thinking of running Thursday from Depot Bay. Anyone else want to run for tuna we would like the company.

Weather permitting We are going on Thursday and chasing salmon if not (assuming we can get out at all! Would love the company!

Our plans are the same.... depending etc. The forcast right now is marginal for us but if it stays the same, we will be there. We want to be off alittle after 5 and plan to head for 45 125 . That may change after checking the SST's tomorrow. We will watch for you. We are at dock 2 and will be on 78. Luck and hope to see you on the water

We will be launching around 0530 so may have to catch up with you all. I will get on the horn as soon as we are in the water. Let's get some tuners!

I won't be going out thursday (except for sea-trial after putting carb back in). Would appreciate getting a tuna update though when you get back in. I'll be making tuna runs on sat and sunday.

After looking at yesterdays SST I thought I better move this back to the top...

As of 1:30 ....lots of fog...but little wind...hmmmmm.....

Not good....it is what the bouy report say....8 ft swell, and some wind.

I think I will go blueback fishing in the river.

I will wait for another day.....takecare if you go.

It didn't happen.. the bar was limited to 40' this morning, we waited around and did some work on rigging, made a run to Englands.. etc. when we could get out at 9:30 we ran out for a couple of Salmon.. The Hole was pretty spooky, lots of wave energy coming way back into the slot.. It was a beautiful day but a bust for our Tuna plans.. Tomorrow we will run down to Newport for the Chicken Ranch Parade... Maybe after that??

Went out of Newport 13 miles due west. Lots of silvers, warmest water I saw was 48.8 degrees, bumpy ride, no effort to go for tuna!!!! Hope tomorrow is the magic time. I will decide on ice in the morning!
