Default Tues weather from newport

Hi all...Just thought I'd drop a line to let all the inland salty ones know what it was looking like over here. Well I can't see the water due the excess of fog settled in here, but the winds are calm and temp. isn't all bad, might be decent on the water. I am gonna try to get out today for bait jiggin and test the shifting on the boat. Hope that is a good enough report, sorry its not better. What do you expect from a rookie?? Be careful out there. Wind is supposed to kick up this afternoon. Forecast for today is 3 & 5 this morning rising to 5&5 this afternoon. 8 seconds will make that pretty nasty!

Thanks Gotfish! Local observation can be very helpful in considering a trip. I went out yesterday and went 3 natives for 7 fish, out of Newport. Bumpy ride and lots of fog! Not too much fun. Passed on today and will think about the rest of the week...until Friday. UGH!
