Default best catch of the year

I have been out a dozen times out of Depoe Bay this year with enough tuna to can and eat as well as helping newbies and old friends catch some fish.

I have taken my father half a dozen times and the memories created this year will stay with me forever.

I have all the various bottom fish in the freezer waitng for some butter and a hot pan. I have silver and chinook salmon who's fate is vacum packed.

On sunday the 27th I and my wife had our second son Samuel 7 lbs 5 oz healthy and strong. Future fisherman If we all try to take only what we can eat, and practice saftey above all else and caring for our fellow boaters. God bless and tight lines Im taking a break Choo Choo will be out of action for awhile.

big congrats, I know how you feel. I had a boy two weeks ago wed. They are such a little miracle.
Enjoy Samuel, and give him all kinds of love. He'll be big enough to fish with you very soon.
cheers,
Brad
