Monday tuna?

I am getting to be quite the optimist. I looked at the SST and saw great water close, a little north of Depoe. The weather forecast is not tooooo bad for Monday, if we survive Sunday.....anyone thinking about it? Salmon? sitting on the bluff and dreamin'? I sure hope the ocean behaves for Friday and Saturday halibut festivities! Tight lines all!

I'm thinkin' about going out and wetting a line for a couple of Salmon on monday. I have to go gas up the boat for fridays halibut trip, and am off monday...we'll see how work goes tonight though.

I won't be chasing tuna though till Saturday. I agree, the current SST is looking good near-shore just to the north of Depoe Bay.

I went out of Depoe yesterday (Saturday) after tuna. We started trolling at 20 miles off shore but didn't get a hookup until we hit the 61 Degree spot. We landed 18 fish and lost 1 at the boat. All the fish were hooked at 61 degrees or a mile north. We even tryed trolling in about 8 miles and no hookups on the way in.

Hope this helps for your trip tomorrow. Oh ya they hit on every color I through at them.
