Halibut Friday 8/1 - Possible seats open
As it stands now, it looks like I'll be running the Sea Jypzee out for a Halibut trip on friday 8/1. I have at least one person from work who will be riding along. This is primarily going to be a halibut trip, with albacore as a possibility on the run back up if we get done early.
I will be able to carry 6 for Halibut, so may have upto 5 empty seats for ifishers. It's not for sure yet how many from work will be able to go. At least one, possibly upto 3.
Sooo, if you're looking for a seat for a halibut trip for this next friday 8/1, send me an email, and respond here so we can begin talking.

Glad to see you up and running Nancy. Are you doing hali's at the pile or ranch? I'll try to hook up with you if you go for tuna.

Undecided so far. May head out to the ranch. Will have to see what the weather and seas are looking like. I have a decent spot on the pile that I've picked up a few Halibut from in past years, I might try...but we'll just see.

Re: Halibut Friday 8/1 - Possible seats open
Nancy, I wanna go but don't know yet about the day off for next Friday. Can I let you know by WED. PM? Do I need a special tag for Hali's? I have the usual license and tags. How far out do you have to go and should I stay over in Newport? No wait, I think I saw your boat is in DB one day.
Thanks,
Ray

Snapshot - Yes, the Sea Jypzee is perminantly docked in Depoe Bay.
As for tags - you just need a salmon/steelhead/halibut/sturgeon tag. They're all in one tag. As for letting me know Wed. PM, ummm would be best to let me know ASAP. We can take to email between now and then to work out the details and talk.

Re: Halibut Friday 8/1 - Possible seats open
At this point, I am fully booked up for the 1st of August Halibut trip. I have 4 folks from work and 2 ifishers set up.
IF a seat opens up (at least one of the folks from work could fall through, possibly 2), I will post here. Should know by monday or so hopefully for sure.

Hey Nancy!
The BLACK ROCKET may be leaving from Depoe Bay 8-1, instead of Newport. If so amybe we could run together. Don't worry , we'll spot you a 1/2 a hour

Re: Halibut Friday 8/1 - Possible seats open
Nancy, I am a no go on Friday as I cannot get the time off as I was off two days last week. It will be hard to work a full 5 days for a change but some of us have to do it.
Any chance of you calling in sick for me on Friday? I'm sure they would give me four of five days off if you could come up with a good excuse for me. Just don't tell them I died
have a great day on the water and oh how I wish I could go. Take another good Ifisher. The boat looks good and ready from what I could see on Saturday. I sent a couple thoughts about the cutting out of engine #2.
Thanks again
Ray
