Hi Jen,
I plan on running with you guys out of Newport in the morning. John was going out today for a Salmon hunt and I was wondering if you could get a water report for me when he checks in. The conditions today look to be the same as we are going to get tomorrow. I hope it's comfortable to go out to the pile and back. If not, I will probably just start fishing 5 miles out and keep an eye open.

I chatted with him very briefly. He said he'd call when he cleared the bar this afternoon and I haven't heard back yet, so I assume the w-w-w-www--- Aw, heck - that "air moving around stuff" hasn't cranked up. He did say that he was fishing with our friend "Short Chop" and that it was unpleasant, but not bad.

By the way, they hooked 5 silvers and a king.
