Default Dado and/or Rabbits

Could someone explain how the Rabbits or Dado's are used on the tuna handlines? Distance behind boat and leader length behind them?
Are any of you fishing out of Hammond? (Columbia River) How long an I considered a Fry?

Zodman - I use Dado's on 3 of my handlines. I run one on each outside corner on long lines...roughly about 75' of tuna cord, then the dado, then about 12' of leader to the jig. Then I run the third in close, up the center off the transom. It's on about 15' of tuna cord, to the dado, then my standard 12' leader.

Do a search on the site, as there's lots of discussions going on about how people run their handlines.
