Had a great day of fishing with dad on Saturday. That was the nicest (weather) day out on the ocean this year for us. Ended up landing 13 fish for two of us. One 23# chinook and 12 native coho. I couldn't believe it, 12 nates in a row. I guess it is a good sign that there is so many wild fish, and it was fun catching them, but a couple in the box would have been nice (believe me I'm not complaining). We were fishing herring at 30-50 pulls. When we ran out of bait, I started using a black and white coyote spoon and hooked 4 more fish. It was kind of funny that the one chinook that we took home was clipped

. Can't wait for next weekend. HJ
