Default Depoe Daily Double

I already posted the story on the Community Board but thought I'd share the pics with you salty folks.





From Sunday at Depoe. 5 nice coho, 1 32# smily, a ling, 2 cabezon, kelp greenling, balance of 30 black bass.

Hey Bruce...Was that up by Bonneville on jumbo divers n K 16,s??? :smile: Heck keep going west in that pea soup and get them things with the long fins in the sled.....Whatta great day for you guys huh????????

Nice day fellas. Did the bass come off the surface. They're a kick on light spin gear. The coho look to getting a little bigger too.

Now I know why Charlie didn't come come up for the work party on Rotsa Ruck.

Wish I was there with you guys.

The bass were in about 45' of water. When we were on 'em my meter looked like a swarm of bees, from 15' to the bottom.

Brad said "bring a steelhead rod", so I was using an 8-12 drift rod with a Curado and 15#. That was light tackle enough for me with 2 fish on at once. (which I happened to have 7 times in 20 minutes, whoohoo!)

Next time I'll bring something with a little more backbone.

Awesome day. On the trailer at 1:00.

BTW, the charters were chatting that someone got an albie on a hootchie at something like 5 miles. When we turned around we were at 6.
