Default Euro mount beetles around Stayton?

Title says it all. My cousin shot a nice 4-point Mule deer this year and is looking for someone near him to beetle the skull. Any info would be appreciated...

There is a taxidermist in the Scio area that does them; though I'm pretty sure he sends them out. A buddy of mine has had two bulls done there. Very nice looking.

I could find out the name if you are interested.....

I have a buddy in Albany that has beetles and a taxidermy shop. If you would like, I'll pm you his number.

PM sent with the number

Wooten Taxidermy in Scio is the place I was thinking..... hopefully you have found someone by now though. Sorry it took so long to get back to you.

Would be interested in hearing and seeing your results. I've got one in the freezer that I would like to get done.

I have had three of them done through Starcks Taxidermy in Turner. Pretty nice when they are done.

Approximately what should a person expect price wise to have the beetles clean up a skull?

I am currently going the, let the fly maggots clean it up.

They can run a couple hundred bucks if the taxidermist has to do all the fleshing and skinning of the animal. If it's just a skull without a plaque needed, I am sure they can cut a deal
