Alsea?

Saturday, I'll be leaving Portland around 4:30 AM to work in Corvallis until around 1:30 PM. After that I can go Steelheading into the dark.

Anyone know what's up at the Alsea or where you would suggest I might go and drown a hook?

Alsea should be great. It has been producing well. Try around Clemens park or Mill Creek park if the crowds up at the hatchery are too much for you. I have been doing best on the smallest orange glo-bugs I can tie.

Check out my report from yesterday it will give you a pretty good idea of where the fish are. Pretty much everything has been working to catch fish.

Riverdogg,

As fast as the river is dropping fast so, the report u posted is three days old and conditions are completely different, now clear and low water condtion's w/ sun exist.

I am sure u are an expert as to give valuable posts, but relize condtions change hourly.
