I need a decoy cart!!
Should I just go buy a cheap game cart from Joes? Is there something else I should be looking at? I can't do another hunt at SI packing dekes and gear!
I'm getting too old!

Re: I need a decoy cart!!
My suggestion.......take a hard look at the Cabela's Magnum game cart.
Superior to the cheap one at Joes. Better wheels, bearings, wider and just generally better built.
Love mine.

Re: I need a decoy cart!!
I use a garden cart with the 2 bike tires on it. I'm on my second one the first one I bought brand new and paid a ton the one I use now I found on craigslist for $45. Its kinda big and takes up alot of room in the back of the truck but I can pack enough gear for 2 or 3 guys no problem with it.

Re: I need a decoy cart!!
I got that cheap one at joes two years ago and just spent more money on modding the cart and adding bike wheels than the cart alone

Re: I need a decoy cart!!
I have both. The cart from Cabelas; the Magnum is great and much lighter than the big garden cart with the big bike wheels on it. The advantage of the cart from Cabelas is that it easily folds in half for hauling home in the back of the truck. The garden cart that I got from a large farm supply house in Klamath Falls is heavier, but it holds much more. They both can double as the frame work to a make shift blind when out field hunting. I do use both on a regular basis, it just depends on how many people are hunting and how many goose decoys we are transporting out into the fields.also, the Cabelas Magnum cart can double quite well for a dear cart.
Good luck.

Re: I need a decoy cart!!
Why pack em when you can haul them? Cabela's mag hauler is money well spent. Just what Hunt'nFish said, it might take longer to get, but once it comes off the ups truck you will be very happy at "o dark 30" in the morning when your walking into the spot to hunt.

Re: I need a decoy cart!!
Thanks guys!!
Cabelas has a Super Mag Hauler for $30 more. I'll probably step up and buy it unless the regular Magnum would be better??
Now where do I get a coupon??

Re: I need a decoy cart!!
The joes special, while adequate for a couple doz decoys, gun and shells... is adequate, but it doest have much of a payload, and is a back breaker for anyone over 6" tall.

Re: I need a decoy cart!!
We've had some bad experiences with the deer cart that has the plastic wheels. Nothing like having to haul out ten dozen dekes on your back because the spokes break.
Get the Mag Hauler. You won't be sorry.

Re: I need a decoy cart!!
I'm gonna try to make one. There was a guy i hunted with last year who made one that had a tailgate. it was pretty sweet. He said in cost less then $100 to make and the wheels were the most expensive part.

Re: I need a decoy cart!!
Catch22,
Found this: Big Game GC3000 500lb Multi Purpose Cart
$69...on sale. Boy that's almost too good to pass up.
Also saved off the drawings for it, just in case I get bored and decide to bend up a couple out of conduit.
Steve, share your design idea.

They also sell a fold cart it is a big garden cart that folds flat thats what I use. I just hosed it down with camo paint the deer cart type the tire will rub on your decoy bag and they are way over priced!
