Just picked up a pair of new waders.... great deal & I'm happy...
So,
I was at a local fly shop here in Bend and they are in the process of closing out the Patagonia Watermaster II waders that are regularly $350 now $210. Patagonia is releasing a new model and they want to close out old stock. I've worn Patagonia Waders since 2001 and I've been incredibly happy from both a performance standpoint and more importantly how they stand behind their product.
If you haven't tried on the Patagonia's you might want to.
The suspender design is much better than SIMMS.
The Warranty is much better than SIMMS. If they leak, they give you a new pair. Technically I could have just traded in my old pair of Patagonia SST's and Patagonia would have given me a new pair, but I've worn the heck out of my old pair and it just doesn't feel right to do such a thing.
I'd say theyr perform as good as SIMMS and stand behind their product.
Anyway, I'm sure the sale pricing is going on at other fly shops as well and wanted to give a heads up.
