Elk tag question
So I drew a 250x desolation tag this year and have been really excited about my first trip back there as it has been a few years.
The bad news is that I am starting a new job on Monday and taking most of my first week off to run over there just isn't something I can do.
My question is I have already picked up my tag for my east side draw and was wondering if there was a way to trade it in for a 1st season coast tag.

You need to goto an ODFW office before either season starts and they will make the trade for you. there will be a charge I think.

Just go to the ODFW offices over on Cherry ave, and ask to trade for a coast tag. They will do that for you. Either that or go to a *** and have them cancel out your eastern tag and print a new 1st coast tag for you.

Wish that was a option, but these days your just lucky to be landing a job at all in my industry and I will be hanging on to it tooth and nail.

ODFW will trade you but you will lose any points it took to get the tag, been there done that.......Ray

Did you scout the unit or have you hunted there before? I was thinking about hunting there second season....Woody

Ive hunting that place for the last 20 years off and on. Not getting any better I might add..
