Hello folks. I am newhere. Just purchased a 19' Northriver Sportster in September. Looking at starting to SalmonSteelhead fish. Live in the Salem area and would take any help I can get. Its been about 15 years since I fished for salmon and Steelhead. I know the river around here from bird hunting. I have the anchor system so that will not be a problem or I can troll. Buddy of mine turned me onto this page so I thought I would look around and like what I see so far. I think he is K9jeff or something like that. I duckhunted out of the Wheatland Ferry and know there are some that fish that area to.

I think that might have been the take out point.
Welcome aboard. You can learn a lot by doing a search of the past archives. Also once you get the general idea just go out and hit he water. You will see where guys are trolling and where they are anchoring up. Do what they do. Then you can start tweaking your stile to make it unique and put some fresh springer blood in that nice new boat.
Good luck
Kris
