Default Colorado 3rd Season

Nov. 1-7. Unit 35,36,45. Anyone familiar with the High Country North of Eagle, Gypsum, Wolcott, etc. Colorado???? Bro-in-law (Tailchaser) and I are heading out in a week and I am looking for any last minute inspiration, info, photos, etc. This is my first out of state hunt and I can only look at maps and google earth for so long before I need to talk with someone or see some real photos of the country or bucks taken from the area. P.M. me or email if you like. Thanks in advance and good luck for the remainder of the season. Wheels. wheelingoutdoors@yahoo.com

I hunted 3rd season about 50 miles north of eagle last year. The buck hold tight and pray for snow. I will send some pictures.

About halway up by the big hill it is 8994 ft the picture is taken from the base of the mountains around 6000ft the top of the ridge is almost 12000 ft. I would suggest getting there at least 3 days early to get aclimated to the lack of oxygen. Be prepared for snow not sunny days like this picture. There are good bucks but they are not stupid be prepared for the wave of orange people most are elk hunters so they can give you good info on where the deer are. Get in good shape ! good luck
