Default raw water washdown, bit of help please

Trophy 88, 2459. I want to install a raw-water wash down system, but I don’t want to drill any new holes in the boat. There appears to be a live bait well but I don’t know anything about it. I have seen posts where the water can be drawn from the bait well for the raw water wash down. Any experience in this conversion? Any thoughts are appreciated. Tks

Does the bait well already have a through hull and raw water feed plumbed to it? If it does you can either tee in to the same thru hull and add a dedicated pump or buy a combo pump that runs at two pressure/flow settings A lower one for the bait well and a higher for washdown.
If there's no through hull than your bait well was designed for an external (over the transom) pump feed or just wasn't plumbed up. You could just fill it with water and use it for a tank I guess. Then you'll be caring all that weight around and of course have limited supply.
I don't know why you guys are all scared of holes in your boat. Good through hulls (bronze) will outlast the rest of you boat. Especially on trailer boats. Good through hulls aren't cheap either but what is on a boat? Sheeesh!

Mel, I think the idea is that if I don't have to drill a hole, and especially if I already have one, I would rather not. I think I do have access to the raw-water, I just had never tried to use it. I'll give it a try and let you know.
thanks for the note

Lemmee know- I need a new raw water washdown pump (don't run the thing for 2 or 3 hrs with the seacock closed ) so I've checked out all the models and so forth.

If you already have a diaghram pump for the bait well, disconnect the hoes and hook up a nozzle and se if it rpovides the pressure yo uwant for wash down. If it does then you could just put a three way valve in or disconnect from the well and use that pump.
If not, you gotta buy a higher output pump and install it.

PS- I was half joshin about the hole. I don't like either, but I have so many now what's one more? What I don't have is a drain plug to remember.
