Default slow slow day

Went after some quackers yesterday out on the columbia...

had the blind and the decoys set at sunlight, and hen waited,

and waited,

and waited.

ended up shooting three teal around 12, then calling it a day at about 3, not many ducks flying, lots of geese cruing the river though.. maybe next week for them

I hunted on Sunday, had some nice shots at wigeon early and a few ringneck shots. ended up with 6 birds for two people.

It was supposed to be almost windless, but at cascade locks the wind was moving about 15mph west. Made for a nice morning. Cant wait for the divers to get here in force.
