I have the Nikon Gold 1200 yd. It is nice and compact. Works great. A little spendy, but you get what you pay for with optics....

I have the Nikon Monarch 800 and I love it. The guy at Sportsman's Warehouse said that it was 800 yards non-reflective. I can maybe get 530 if I get it just right. Either way, I know what a 500 yard deer looks like. TOO FAR!

My Nikon is a 800 yard model, not sure of the name of the model, have had it for at least 8 or 10 years.

Usually it is hard to get a reading beyond about 500 yards unless you have a hard target to shoot at.

I have read 950 yard targets in the right condition.

Sure helps me know where to start holding

I bought a Nikon 440 a few years ago and I use it for bow hunting. It works great and never had a problem with it.

I shot a mule deer in Montana a few years ago and ranged the deer at 45 yards, the arrow hit right on the mark. The confidence of knowing the exact range was key to harvesting that buck.

I bought the riflehunter 550 this summer. So far it works exactly as advertised. I can range any nonreflective target out to 550. I have got readings into the 700's on various things in good conditions.
