Default Coastal "hot in the sun" coastal chrome!(PIC)

Haded to the coast tdy not knowing what a beautiful day it would be.......

Lost a big run back from bad line... Left behind the crowds and headed to new water.

Ran into Sparkleboy and talked the walk and bs'ed for a long time then we decided to fish together for the rest of the day. Here is the one that Sparkleboy caught.

Nice bright little hen that fell to Aaron's custom jigs... Meanwhile back at the ranch I caught this wild fish driftin' shrimp w/ a orange adn white glow-go.

Very nice bigwild hen... the picture does hwer no justice, she was roughly 12-13 pounds...
Went back down to check on Sparkleboy and ran into fishinfool aka Grant Scheele's Dad, nice meetin u Ben. I ran back upstream and Sparkleboy was going to fish is way up and before he got up there I landed this one on a Pink Birdie and shrimp...

This was a nice fat bright hatchery hen that faught very well......

Had to put up a portrait of this fat fish!

NIce meetin u Ifish kids!!!!

Today was an excellent day to be on the river. The weather was great - except we had both over dressed a little and got pretty warm.
Pretty ideal conditions for catching fish, too, which is always a good thing!
I just got done gobbling some of that purdy little girl down! Mmm!
Thanks again for letting me tag along today, Ty. It was an awesome day. Let's do it again sometime!

Man, you OSU fisheries guys sure have it dialed in. I knew I created a "monster" about 12 years ago when I first introduced Sparkleboy to the magic and joy of steelhead fishing. He just can't get enough. I am glad you guys had a great day on the river, you both deserve it. I hope a little of that magic is left over for me this weekend. By the way Aaron, nice jigs!
