A buddy bought one and it didn't work on the rifle he put it on. Moved it up and down the barrel and nothing. He put it on a different rifle and it helped a lot. He had to move it a couple of times on the barrel to find the spot that it seemed to work the best. So I guess it depends on the rifle. Don't ask me how to tell which ones it will work on.

i use one on my 300 and it works great it didnt seem to do anything when it was toward the tip of the barrel but once i moved it down towards the stock it was lights out. groups got tighter and confidence went up. i also tested it at the range and one of the shooting coaches there said that he was going to buy one just by the way it preformed on my gun
