Limbsave barrel de-resonators

Has anyone used one of these??? All the info that the company provides sounds good, but do they really work???

A buddy bought one and it didn't work on the rifle he put it on. Moved it up and down the barrel and nothing. He put it on a different rifle and it helped a lot. He had to move it a couple of times on the barrel to find the spot that it seemed to work the best. So I guess it depends on the rifle. Don't ask me how to tell which ones it will work on.

If you do try it post up a report so we can learn more about these things.

i use one on my 300 and it works great it didnt seem to do anything when it was toward the tip of the barrel but once i moved it down towards the stock it was lights out. groups got tighter and confidence went up. i also tested it at the range and one of the shooting coaches there said that he was going to buy one just by the way it preformed on my gun

Yep, mine works on the .270, brought the group of bullets in even tighter.
